About the Foundation

Our Mission & Vision

The PETNA Foundation brings financial resources and intellectual capital to projects focused on youth, education, and community development.

The Foundation places a premium on the quality and commitment of its partners, and, by promoting education and inspiring social responsibility, looks to achieve demonstrable and sustainable impact on communities and individuals.

The PETNA Foundation uses education as the primary vehicle to make this vision a reality. We provide financial assistance to children and young people who have the ability, but not the means, to achieve a higher level of education. By providing assistance and access to quality, relevant, secondary, tertiary and post-graduate education, our goal is to help eradicate the poverty of aspiration in developing countries and poor communities around the world.

Knowing that we cannot reach all of the world’s poor and underrepresented, The PETNA Foundation’s main focus will be on students and families in the Caribbean and Africa, and working with partner institutions in the United States and Canada.
