Pastor Stanley Long has served in Christian Ministry for over 44 years. He is the Founder and Pastor Emeritus of South Bay Community Church in Fremont, CA. Much of the year, Pastor Long also travels around the world, training pastors and church leaders, doing missionary work in countries such as Grenada and Malawi, and leading biblical travel expeditions to places such as Egypt, Israel and the Mediterranean. He has a M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary; M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University; and a Doctor of Divinity from Nyack College. He serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Ministries, Inc. and the Board of Trustees at Fuller Theological Seminary. A writer, shepherd, teacher, servant, friend…A man from the very heart of God. Pastor Long loves his family, friends and sharing laughter. He is committed to excellence in education and living a life of integrity.

Nicholas E. Brathwaite holds degrees in Applied Chemistry and Polymer Engineering from McMaster University and a MSc. degree from the University of Waterloo.  He was hired by Intel and went on to become a founding member of nCHIP, which was subsequently purchased by Flextronics in 1995. Nic was Chief Technology Officer of Flextronics where his vision and technology leadership helped the company to grow revenues from $150M to over $20B.  Nicholas retired from Flextronics at the end of 2007 and became founding partner of Riverwood Capital.

Driven by a passionate belief in the power of education to improve lives and communities, Nic, together with his wife, Janice, founded The PETNA Foundation in 2007.  The Brathwaites, personally and through The PETNA Foundation, provide financial support for a number of programs in the Caribbean, African and North America, with a focus on Education, Youth, and Community Development.

Janice Brathwaite, with over 15 years of operational and management
experience in service industries and a Bachelor of Science degree from the
University of Nevada, Las Vegas, brings a wealth of expertise to her role on the
board of Genesis. She has demonstrated leadership through various positions at
community organizations, including South Bay Community Church, showcasing
her dedication to serving youth and families.

Janice is driven by a desire to dedicate time to inspiring causes, leverage talents
for impactful work, and approach endeavors with love and compassion. Outside
of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending quality time with her
husband Nicholas, her children, family, and friends. In her free time, she can be
found enjoying the performing arts, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

In a career spanning four decades, Lynda Morrison has worked in the Canadian Federal Government as Special Assistant to the Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources; at the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as Associate Executive Director; and most recently, as CEO of the Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation in Toronto, Ontario.  In her 18 years at Wellspring, Lynda established the organization as a centre for innovation and excellence in cancer support, recognized for its leadership in the field by the Ontario Ministry of Health, Cancer Care Ontario, and Health Canada.   She retired from Wellspring in 2013.  Lynda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Rod Morrison earned his BA and MA from McMaster University and his D.Phil. from Oxford University. After a brief academic posting at Memorial University, he joined the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 1990, becoming the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Huntington Society of Canada in 1997. In 2002, he joined McMaster University as Director of Alumni Advancement, and was named Director of International Advancement in 2006, adding the Major Gifts portfolio in 2011. Rod was appointed Vice-President, Advancement, at Acadia University in 2012, leading the largest and most successful fundraising campaign in Acadia’s history prior to his retirement in early 2021. Dr. Morrison was recognized shortly after his retirement with the CCAE’s Outstanding Achievement Award.
