Carlyn Benjamin was one of the first PETNA scholarship recipients.  PETNA financed both B.A and M.A degrees in Education for Carlyn and her brother Carlson.  They are from one of the poorest villages in Grenada. The first in their family lines to attend high school and among the first (of their generation) from their village to attend college and grad school.

Carlyn has been accepted to Palm Beach Atlantic University for the fall 2016 semester to pursue a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Her goal is to pursue a career in Mental Health Counseling, and the MA would help her obtain a PhD.

Carlyn expresses her gratitude to PETNA, "Again, thank you for the foundation that your family gave me. It has inspired me to press on and to believe that I can do whatever I aspire".
